Traveling is part and parcel of my job as a marketing officer since having clients around the globe requires strict attention to their needs. Houston, however, is one place I’ve not gone to yet but have definitely heard stories about.
According to friends who have migrated there, the city is always humid and traffic is terrible. So when my boss told me to book an airport transportation in Houston, Texas because I’m going there next week to discuss the campaign of a group of new clients, I felt nervous and excited at the same time.
Nervous because I’m not familiar with the place let alone the efficiency of a Houston limousine rental company there. While excited as I’ll finally be able to see and travel what is considered one of the biggest cities in America.
Now as I sit in the lobby of the Bush Intercontinental Airport for the airport transportation, I feel Houston TX is just going to be a great experience. This wonderful feeling has replaced the jitters I had earlier prior to the plane’s takeoff. Maybe the sandwich and coffee which the stewardess served had some relaxing potion thus bringing forth this kind of emotion.
It did not take long for my chauffeured limo to arrive and wow am I impressed with this white SUV that can seat six passengers. According to the courteous and amiable uniformed chauffeur, this is the all-time favorite wedding limo service in Houston and it’s pretty obvious why. Parents also consider it the safest prom limousine in Houston he adds.
I don’t think I’ll have trouble inviting my guest clients for a ride later after the meeting, as this vehicle will surely drop their jaws. I just love its elegant bar setup seemingly tempting me to hold the meeting here rather than in a hotel restaurant. Then I realized I’m just a support character in this show so if the stars want to eat in a posh restaurant, so be it.
My clients chose to lunch at the Posh Restaurant and Supper Club. According to them, it’s Friday so the place will be serving scrumptious seafood entrees. As they dug into the appetizer, I discussed our company’s campaign offerings for their new project. Owing it to my exemplary conversational skills and wonderful ideas, I won their nod before they could even touch the main course.
As we feasted on the main dish, we hardly spoke about work as my clients couldn’t wait to hop into the white SUV to take me for a wine tour and sightseeing in Houston. Aren’t they so accommodating? Or is my ride just that enticing?
